“Ortho” adds equal parts practicality and visual curiosity in providing simple storage for small personal items in the office or home.
Portland, OR – July 5, 2017 – Portland-based architectural hardware and furniture designers Quartertwenty today announced the debut of “Ortho,” a modern steel desk organizer for office or home.
“It’s a new twist on the old problem of desk organization,” Quartertwenty founder Matthew Bietz said.
“We’ve created a modern office product that serves a practical purpose while adding a design element to a desk or bookshelf.”
Available in yellow, white and red powder-coated finishes, Ortho is a 4”x 4” laser-cut piece of tube steel that holds a phone, pens, and an architect’s tri-scale—among other things. At three pounds, it’s also at home as a paperweight or bookend.
